Suzhou First Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, established in 2005, traces its origins back to 1923 when Mr. Zhu Zijiu founded Fukang Pharmacy. As the first chemical pharmaceutical enterprise in Suzhou, the company boasts a century-long history.
The company focuses on four core therapeutic areas: psychiatry & neurology, antivirals, oncology, and chronic geriatric diseases. We are committed to providing diversified treatment products for the central nervous system, respiratory system, digestive system, and cardiovascular system, continuously addressing unmet clinical needs.

1923

Mr.Zhu Zijiu,the developer of China's earliest analgesic, "Fantongling" (Van Tong Ling), founded Fukang Western Pharmacy in Shanghai, initiating the manufacturing of Western medicines.

Fukang Westem Pharmacy relocated to Suzhou and was later renamed "Suzhou Fukang Pharmaceutica Factory Co.,Ltd.",becoming the first chemical pharmaceutical enterprise in Suzhou.

1957

Fukang Pharmaceutical Factory merged with Suzhou Chemical Pharmaceutical Factory and was renamed "Suzhou No.1 Pharmaceutical Factory"

Due to government urban planning,the First Pharmaceutical Factory was relocated to Xiyuan Road.

1976

2002

Together with Suzhou No.4 Pharmaceutical Factory and SuzhouPharmaceutical Station,thecompany established Suzhou Pharmaceutical Group and completed its transformation from a state-owned enterprise to a private enterprise.

NT Pharma Group Company Limited acquired 80% equity of the company, which was renamed "Suzhou First Pharmaceutical Co.. Ltd."

2005

2009

The new site in Suzhou Industrial Park was officially put into operation,significantly improving production capacity and the modernization level of the facility.

NT Pharma acquired the remaining 20% equity, making Suzhou First Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. a wholly-owned subsidiary.

2012

2023

Zenji Pharma acquired 100% equity of Suzhou First Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.,introducing new products and building an international quality management system, marking a new stage of growth for the company.

Methylphenidate hydrochloride tablets were successfully relaunched and marketed, effectively alleviating market demand and achieving dual breakthroughs in product restoration and market expansion.
